About Nancy Bergeron
Nancy has always had a passion for animals.
From a very young age, Nancy has wanted to work with animals, particularly dogs. Her love of dogs was encouraged by her father, who travelled often on business. Unfortunately, her mother did not share their love of animals.
“My father would buy me a dog, and then go away on business. While he was gone, my mother would give the dog away, basically crushing me”.
Nancy vowed that when she grew up, she would have a household full of animals that she could love and help. And that dream has become a reality.
With her husband and 2 children, Nancy has spent the better part of the last 20 years raising and training dogs. Her love for animals grew stronger when, in September of 2007, Nancy’s mother died at the age of 58. Nancy never held her mother’s feelings about animals against her. To help her get over the death of her mother, Nancy acquired a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, a dog breed she has always adored. From the very first day, it was love. Nancy has spent countless hours with Sasha, training and loving her. It was this relationship that inspired Nancy to put what she had learned to use, helping other people with their dogs, while at the same time fulfilling her dream.
Nancy doesn’t just train dogs. She loves to help dog owners as well. Her mission is to help people properly learn what their dogs need most, and how to give it to them.
From basic dog walking, to learning how to be the “pack leader”, Nancy spends her days doing what she loves, helping dogs and their owners.
